Caring for your Nordman Fir

  • If you don’t want to put your tree up straight away, simply keep it in the net and upright in the garden with the base in a bucket of water until you are ready to decorate it.
  • Cut 1 inch (2.5cm) from the base of the trunk of your cut tree.
  • Shake the tree gently outside before removing the netting to remove any loose needles.
  • Ensure that you position your tree away from heat sources such as radiators and fires.
  • Place your tree in a stand that holds plenty of water and keep it topped up.  Check the water level every day.
